Custom Support Engineering
for MEP Utilities

Riser supports, wall mounts, supplemental steel, rooftop stanchions, custom trapezes, and floor mounts. Designs incorporate Foreman feedback using readily available parts.

Seismic Anchorage Calculations for Equipment

Required per Code for equipment over 400 lbs, or with center of gravity greater than 4 ft. We have experience with equipment of all sizes and an extensive library of concrete, steel, and wood anchors.

Vibration Isolation Design and Frame Fabrication for Equipment

Design neoprene and spring isolators to dampen the noise created by mechanical equipment. Custom steel frame and rails designed and fabricated by FSS to meet equipment manufacturer support requirements.

Seismic Bracing for MEP Utilities

Easy to install seismic bracing designs for suspended utilities in addition to rapid response times. We assist subcontractors to fit kickers in crowded overhead spaces. Efficient designs mean minimal bracing to meet building code requirements

3D Modeling for Seismic Bracing

Model clash free bracing in Revit and AutoCAD. We help with the placement and design of hangers and trapeze assemblies for common MEP systems such as pipe, duct, conduit, and cable trays. Point load services also offered.

MEP Hardware Product Distribution

Large stock of innovative, easy to install seismic and vibration isolation hardware. Our stake bed truck makes daily deliveries to jobsites throughout the SF Bay Area. Direct ship options and will call also available.
